SYNOPSIS:

Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is a broad, multifactorial concept that includes self-reported measures of physical and mental health. It is considered particularly sensitive as an outcome measure of interventions and treatments in patients with established cardiovascular disease (CVD) (Cepeda-Valery et al., 2011).
